The recommended browsers for accessing the service are Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Safari. For best experience, please ensure that you use the latest version of the browser. If you use some other browser or an earlier version of the recommended browsers, the service might look unusual or some functions cannot be performed.
Users of Safari 11 and Internet Explorer have reported problems in using the service. We recommend that you use the recommended browsers.
If the site acts strangely, try clearing the browser cache.
Ohjaustaverkossa.fi is a tool for online guidance that enables secure interaction between the customer one or more experts providing guidance. The tool can be used either as a standalone tool or as part of multi-channel guidance.
The service can be accessed by contacting a service provider that provides guidance and counselling. Guidance is always given in a workspace set up for you by the expert working on your case. When a workspace is set up for you, you will be invited in it by email. You can then log in to the service. The log in uses strong authentication. Strong authentication requires that you have online banking credentials or a mobile certificate.
If no workspace has been set up for you, you cannot log in and use the service.
A list of all service providers that use the Ohjaustaverkossa.fi service for providing guidance and counselling will be posted later in the service. At present, all Employment and Economic Development Offices (TE Offices) and the TE telephone service use Ohjaustaverkossa.fi.

Ohjaustaverkossa.fi is secure.Only you and your expert can access the workspace set up for you by your expert, and nobody else but you and your expert can see the interaction that takes place in the workspace. If your situation requires the expertise of an expert in another sector, it is possible that several experts participate in your guidance. In such a case, you will be asked whether you consent to this. If you do, you can give your consent by allowing other guides to join the workspace. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Your workspace can only be accessed by you and the expert who set it up. Not even the service administrator can access the workspace and view the information in it. The questionnaires that you complete in the workspace and the feedback you give are also completely confidential, and your answers cannot be connected to you outside the workspace. The feedback is used as statistical support for the development of the services.
The storage period of your data is tied to the workspaces your expert created for you. Your data will be stored for 15 months after the closure of your last workspace.
More precisely:
Individual workspaces remain active for three (3) months after the customer’s last login to the workspace or until the service provider closes it.
A closed workspace can be reactivated by the service provider in three (3) months after its closure. If the workspace is not reactivated in three months, the workspace is archived for twelve (12) months and also disappears from the expert’s views.
The archived workspaces are visible for an authenticate customer who can download their content as long as they are archived. After the archiving period is over, the workspace will be deleted permanently. If the deleted workspace is the only workspace associated with the customer’s user account, all data associated with the customer’s user account are deleted from the system and the archive.
When a contact via a contact form leads to opening a workspace, the personal data in the form are stored for as long as the workspace is stored. If no workspace is opened, the data on the contact form will be deleted from the system in 180 days.
Cross-sectoral guidance uses the expertise of several experts on various fields, if your situation requires it. The expert who created the workspace suggests that you invite another expert into the workspace and sends the invitation. You can then accept or reject the invitation as the customer.
In the modern society, things are often complex, and employment, education and well-being services might require detailed knowledge that your initial expert does not have. Cross-sectoral guidance provides you with the expertise of several experts in different fields in the same workspace, and you do not have to contact the other experts separately.
The Ohjaustaverkossa.fi service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. However, not all service providers offer all of these languages.
